On the subject of 'BSE', the Oman Ministry of Agriculture & Fishery
has issued a Ministerial decision: 
a. Banning import of cattle and cattle products from all European countries, 
b. Ban exempts milk and milk products, provided such imports are accompanied by an approved certificate stating that "the products are sourced from farms free from mad cow disease".
The decision came into force from the date of issue, i.e. 01 February
2001 and has affected all imports which are either at the port or on high seas.
